July's Best Bloomers

I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July with family and friends. We took last week off from the newsletter — and honestly, after that stretch of heat across Indiana, I think we all needed it. There were days when just keeping the plants watered felt like a full-time job.
If your flowers came through a little stressed, don’t get discouraged. Summer gardening is a marathon, not a sprint, and many annuals are far tougher than they first appear.
Here at the greenhouse we’re already looking ahead to late summer and fall — but July is when many of our favorite plants really begin to hit their stride. This week:
· Not all Rudbeckias are created equal
· What’s blooming across Indiana right now
· Why July is finally Angelonia season
Happy gardening,
Caleb
